|Old Home Week is all about entertainment, and that means entertainment for everyone. With an emphasis on variety, entertainment at Old Home Week blends the traditional with the modern, offering fun and excitement for all ages.
With traditional agricultural exhibits and livestock shows and competitions continuing to be as popular as ever, the heritage of Old Home Week is still strong today. From horse shows and 4H displays, to exhibits of some of the rarest breeds of chickens in the region, there is plenty to see and appreciate at the Old Home Week agricultural exhibits.
As always, the midway is a must-visit for thrill seekers of all ages. Each year, Campbells Amusements brings the latest exciting rides to Old Home Week, while not forgetting the standards like the always-popular Ferris Wheel. Games of chance and skill are available for breaks in-between rides.
The fun continues in the Charlottetown Civic Centre where a roster of top-notch family entertainers come to Old Home Week each summer. From musical performances to children's entertainers to some of the finest furry, four-legged performers around, there is always something to check out inside.

|Kid's Pedal Tractor Pulls|
It’s not every day a kid gets a chance to become star of the show. With the Kid’s Pedal Tractor Pull Competition, kids ages 4 - 12 are welcome to be in the show for FREE and compete in an action packed, pedal tractor pull.
|Alex of the Kaleidoscope Band|
Audiences of all ages will love this interactive world-music infused performances by Alex of the Kaleidoscope Band. His fun lively music will have you dancing and singing along!
|The Freddy Fusion Science Magic Show|
Freddy Fusion’s mix of science, magic and odd sense of humour, along with audience participation will wow you and your kids. You may just become part of the show!
|FAST 'N FURIOUS FLYBALL|
Who doesn't love the incredible dogs at the Fast 'n Furious Flyball shows? Last year's Flyball shows were all sold out, so this year the dogs will be putting on even more shows! There will be 6 daily flyball dog shows, and it's guaranteed that these shows will be jam packed once again! Get there early to not miss out on all the fast-paced action. There is no additional charge to see this show - it's included with your gate admission!
Celebrating Local Musicians
Old Home Week will also be home to talented PEI musicians. From traditional ceilidh music to Acadian, to jazz & blues, to alternative rock... no music lover will be disappointed with this year's traditional line-up of performers. Presented by Music PEI.
The fastest horses and the best drivers in all of Eastern Canada converge at the Charlottetown Driving Park Entertainment Centre for 15 racing programs in 9 days. The Gold Cup & Saucer dates back to the early 1960's, and has become known as one of the most prestigious races in horse racing.

Competitors and exhibitors from across the Maritimes come to Old Home Week every year to take part in the elite livestock and equine competitions.
