Fast' n FURious Dog Show
The Fast' n FURious Flyball Club is a competitive club which puts emphasis first on the well being of the dogs and their handlers, as well as sportsmanship, teamwork and fun, responsible ownership, and the promotion of the sport of flyball.

Flyball is a fast-paced sport for dogs and their handlers. It is a relay race with four to six dogs on a team, each with one human handler. The course is 51 feet long and consists of a start/finish line, four hurdles and a spring-loaded box that shoots out a tennis ball.

Wild West Show
Since 1914, members of the Bishop family have been putting on their Wild West Shows featuring some of the fastest, exciting and most challenging horse riding tricks possible. The Tom Bishop Wild West Show has performed everywhere from The Calgary Stampede to private shows for members of the Saudi Arabian Royal Family.

One of their specialties they'll be performing this year at Old Home Week is “Roman Riding”, an act rarely seen in North America. An amazing feat of balance and control, watch as they maneuver four horses at a full gallop in a one-of-a kind hand-crafted harness, while standing on their backs.

Splash'N Boots
Laugh out loud and and sing along with Splash'N Boots!

Named Canadian Children's Entertainers of the Year in 2007, Splash'N Boots are returning to Old Home Week for their third visit.

This energetic and creative musical duo keeps audiences of any age captivated with their infectious, catchy and hilarious songs and skits.

Brad the Balloon Guy
Ottawa's number one balloon performer is coming to PEI for the first time. His creations, from comic book superheros like Batman, to characters from Shrek, to his own wildly unique original characters will forever change your impressions of balloon origami.

Jon the Cowguy
Jon Lockhart, one third of Ottawa's infamous busking and comedy crew The Cowguys, is making his premiere visit to Old Home Week this summer.

With an extensive background in improvisation and theatre, Jon the Cowguy is known for his spontaneous and wacky performances combining the best of circus tricks, magic and plain old silliness.

From traditional ceilidh music to jazz and blues to alternative rock, no music lover will be disappointed with this year's line up of performers at PEI's Family Fun Fair.

Prince Edward Island Women's Institute
Demonstrations of traditional and exquisite handicrafts presented by the Women's Institute can be found on the upper level of the Civic Centre. Scrap booking, candle making, flower arranging, photography, and quilting are just some of the crafts you can view and admire during these demonstrations which will take place twice daily at 2pm and 7pm from August 11th to 16th.



Linking Land and Sea Food Presentations & Sampling
An up-close view of world-famous Island delicacies in the making. Live cooking demonstations of local cuisine will be held three times daily hosted by Chef Hans Anderegg, Chef Austin Clement, Debbie McCrady, Home Economist Margaret Prouse, and Roger Younker, formerly of CBC television.

Island food producers participating include ADL, Ocean Choice, Kentdale Farms Organic Produce, PEI Potato Board, Atlantic Tender Beef, Island Gold Honey, PEI Blueberry Growers, Brookfield Gardens, Rossignol Estate Winery, Essex Kent Mushroom, Egg Producers of PEI, FoodTrust of Prince Edward Island, and Johnston's Homestyle salads.

And don't forget to check out the Cuisine Machine, on site all week.

Demonstrations will take place in the Island Room at 1:30pm, 3:30pm and 5:30pm August 13th-17th.
