With 2008 being the International Year of the Potato, Prince Edward Island's favorite vegetable will be receiving some special recognition this year at Old Home Week.

The educational, entertaining and interactive Potatoland will provide information on the history of the potato, the agriculture behind the potato, as well as new potato recipes each day. Plus, the Ask A Farmer segment will provide first hand information about potato farming on the Island.
