 August 8th, 2008The Rick Hansen Wheels in Motion, presented by Scotiabank, is a fun experience where teams of five compete in a relay. This is an excellent team-building experience with participants competing in a series of demanding activities designed to foster a better understanding of issues that people living with spinal cord injury encounter on a daily basis. Competitors will race against the clock through an obstacle course in a fun and challenging experience. Funds raised through Rick Hansen Wheels In Motion benefit communities across Canada. Eighty cents of every dollar raised through Wheels In Motion 2008 events will support quality of life projects that help ensure people with spinal cord injuries receive the support they need to fully participate in their communities and lead healthy, active lives.
